Dear Students and Advisors,
On behalf of the model United Nations Association of Ananda College, we cordially invite you to the third annual Simulation South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (S-SAARC) conference, to be held in Colombo, at the Bandaranayake Memorial International conference Hall from 5th to 7th of August 2007 with nearly 350 students gathering from all the parts of Sri Lanka and the region. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff joins us in continuing the longstanding S-SAARC commitment to offering an inviting educational environment and innovative experience for all. S-SAARC 2007 will motivate students to engage as global citizens as they address significant regional issues through dynamic interactive simulations.
Alongside with the traditional committees, the S-SAARC 2007 will offer a new committee that will discuss important aspects of the solution to the regional problem- terrorism.
Priority Registration is now open in the website. It is important to register your school as early as possible due to the high demand for limited seating to familiarize the list of committees and topics for the debates. In addition, we strongly encourage you to participate in the conference out stretch Program to help to prepare your self or your students for the conference. Through this initiative, members of our staff will visit participating schools to answer questions, explain the rules of procedure, and offer recommendations to your delegates.
